Our Offerings
Physical therapy services to include evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and movement dysfunctions.
-
Manual therapy uses hands-on techniques to promote normal mobility, mechanics, and blood flow to restricted tissues and joints. This includes joint mobilizations/manipulations and soft tissue work.
-
Dry needling involves inserting a monofilament needle into a determined muscle trigger point. DN elicits a local twitch response (LTR), allowing the trigger point to release. This normalizes blood flow to the previously restricted area allowing the body to cycle through its normal inflammatory response. DN is used to decrease pain, improve range of motion, improve muscle activation, and allow you to progress in your rehab faster. Your therapist is highly trained in technique and safety.
-
Blood flow restriction therapy involves using a specialized cuff to restrict blood flow in a limb at a desired percentage. BFR increases the release of a variety of physiologically factors spurring an increase of internal processes, including protein synthesis, thus stimulating muscle growth and repair. Performing low load exercise in this partially occluded state allows your body to reap the benefits of high-load training, without the high load. Many times, we want and need to improve strength, but are limited by injury, surgical restrictions, or pain. Blood flow restriction training allows you the opportunity to successfully strengthen within those limitations until loaded exercise is tolerated. In the realm of athletics, BFR is used for recovery and as adjunct training workouts to prevent injury and mitigate overtraining.

IASTM promotes increased blood flow, improved myofascial mobility, decreased pain, and improved range of motion with the assistance of a bevel-edged tool. The tool helps to bring focus to areas restricted by scar tissue or myofascial adhesion. IASTM techniques may be paired with a specific dysfunctional movement pattern to restore the desired tissue length or facilitation.
-
MFD is an alternative soft tissue release involving “lifting” the tissue instead of utilizing deep pressure. Decompressing the tissue addresses myofascial restriction and decreases pain. MFD may be used statically, dynamically, or in conjunction with movement.

Neuromuscular sequencing teaches your muscles to activate properly and in the correct sequence. Without normal firing patterns, compensations develop and often result in pain or decreased muscular output. Biofeedback may be utilized to ensure full volitional activation of musculature. Biofeedback allows you see your success rate in real time as you teach your body the appropriate way to move.
-
Having trouble squatting without pain? Struggling to improve your 1RM? Are you noticing limitations as an overhead athlete? These are a few of the movement patterns assessed. Biomechanical analysis breaks down your movement patterns visually and with specific testing to see where your deficits lie.
-
Want to get ahead of pain? Movement screens are a preventative measure taken to assess compensatory patterns and dysfunction before you start hurting. We all promote dysfunction with our everyday habits, work life, exercise regimens, etc. Realize where your restrictions begin and learn how to address them.
